Site Work
One of Smart Fabrication’s most unique capabilities come from our range of site trucks. The site trucks are versatile, self-contained, multi functional, and able to traverse virtually all terrain. Referred to by clients as “site Ferraris”, these trucks allow work to begin within 15 minutes of arriving on site.
The key advantages of the trucks are the Diesel-powered welding capabilities. This includes GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, and MMAW welding and gouging, as well as single phase, three phase, and dual welders.
Each has compressors and breathable air apparatus for confined space work with a 20 meter range, as well as a SCUBA emergency escape unit. Other safety features include fire extinguishers, full first aid kits, and industrial-grade hazard lighting. All generators include a diesel spill tray attached to the frame of the truck, which avoids possible environmental contamination.
Smart Fab also has two ‘SMART Pod’ containers with identical equipment to the site trucks, which fit in 2.4m2 footprint. These are useful for extended projects and can be locked up and stored safely on site.
They can be made available 24/7 and can be transported anywhere in Australia.
